Dr. Elliot Marcus

Dr. Elliot Marcus is a highly experienced anesthesiologist with a distinguished career spanning several decades. After completing a general surgery internship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Marcus pursued residency training in both general surgery and anesthesia at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Dr. Marcus has held esteemed positions in both academic and clinical settings, serving as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Carlsbad Medical Center, and a staff anesthesiologist at Lovelace Medical Center. A dedicated member of the medical community, Dr. Marcus is a charter member of the Greater Albuquerque Anesthesia Society, and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association. Currently, Dr. Marcus is a staff anesthesiologist with Main Street Anesthesia in Albuquerque, New Mexico, continuing to provide high-quality care to patients. In his free time, Dr. Marcus enjoys working out at the gym.
