IV Nutrition and Detox Therapies

IV Therapy

Enhanced Wellness NM offers physician-led IV therapy with options selected around your health history, current concerns, goals, medications, and, when appropriate, laboratory findings. Rather than treating every patient with the same infusion, our team reviews which approach makes sense for you and whether IV therapy is appropriate in the first place.

Our IV nutrition and detox therapy menu includes nutrient and antioxidant infusions as well as more specialized protocols. Available services include the Enhanced Myers’ Cocktail, high-dose vitamin C, glutathione, alpha lipoic acid (ALA), NAD+, Niagen®, methylene blue, Plaquex®, Poly-MVA, Pico CBD, chelation therapy, and other physician-directed options. We also offer EBOO and UVBI as separate blood-based therapies within our broader IV and regenerative medicine services.

If you are considering IV therapy, the best starting point is a consultation so we can review your history and help determine which option, if any, fits your needs.

Understand the different treatment options

A nutrient infusion, a specialized IV protocol, and a blood-based procedure are different appointments. The services below are grouped here for convenience, but they are not interchangeable. Start with the type of care being discussed, then review the individual service page and any screening requirements with our team.

Nutrient and antioxidant infusions

Compare Enhanced Myers’ Cocktail, high-dose vitamin C, glutathione, and alpha lipoic acid.

These are distinct formulations, not different names for the same infusion. The ingredient, dose, infusion time, and pre-treatment evaluation depend on the protocol being considered.

Specialized IV protocols

NAD+, Niagen, and methylene blue have separate service pages and treatment requirements. Do not assume that one can be substituted for another.

Bring your medication and supplement list. Our clinical team reviews eligibility and preparation before a specialized protocol is scheduled.

Blood-based and chelation procedures

EBOO and UVBI are blood-based procedures, not routine nutrient drips. Chelation therapy is a separate treatment requiring its own evaluation.

The word “detox” alone does not identify which treatment, if any, is appropriate. Ask about the specific purpose, screening, risks, alternatives, and follow-up for the proposed procedure.

How We Approach IV Therapy

IV therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Before recommending an infusion, our team considers your medical history, medications and supplements, allergies, current symptoms, treatment goals, and any laboratory testing that is relevant to the protocol being considered. Some therapies require additional screening before treatment, and some may not be appropriate depending on kidney function, cardiovascular history, medications, or other health factors.

What to Expect at an IV Appointment

Once a protocol has been selected, an IV-trained member of our clinical team places the IV and monitors you during treatment. Appointment length varies depending on the therapy and dose. If you are considering a specialized protocol such as high-dose vitamin C, chelation, EBOO, or another physician-directed therapy, we will explain any testing, preparation, monitoring, and follow-up that apply before treatment begins.
